Job Description

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the HR Delivery Lead, you will work collaboratively with the HR team to provide support, coordination and administration, enabling the team to provide extraordinary HR that accelerates success and drives our business forward. 

Your key responsibilities will include coordinating the employee onboarding and offboarding programs, maintaining employee data and documentation, preparing HR metrics and reports and assisting in HR projects and initiatives. You will also provide timely level 1 HR advice and support to managers and staff on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures. 

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as meticulous attention to detail and absolute commitment to client service and delivering exceptional outcomes. 
This role is ideal for someone who is starting their HR career – such as a recent university graduate or someone in their final year – as there will be the opportunity to learn and develop skills in all areas of HR within an inclusive, collaborative and fun team.  

About You

To be considered and successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in a related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in, or ability to quickly learn, maintaining documentation and business systems, preferably related to human resources.
  • Basic knowledge of Australian employment law.
  • Excellent skills in using the Microsoft Office suites of programs; previous experience using SuccessFactors will be highly regarded. 
  • Capacity to consistently demonstrate a high level of initiative and willingness to take direction.
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • A highly organised approach to work and the ability to multi-task, whilst working calmly and effectively under pressure. 
  •  A great team player with a good sense of humour.
  • Working rights – you must hold current and full-time working rights in Australia.
