Your role

Working with and reporting to Esri Australia's Corporate Accountant, the Finance Officer will have three main responsibilities:

  • Efficient management of internal and external creditor accounts
  • Administration of Corporate Credit card and Travel accounts
  • To ensure creditor accounts are accurately processed on a timely basis and are paid within trading terms

About you

Esri Australia is looking for someone who thrives working in a supportive team environment, and who can demonstrate initiative and an appetite to learn and further develop finance and systems skills. You will have an excellent work ethic and excellent communication skills.

  • 2 years experience in Accounts Payable function and/or a relevant Diploma or Certificate
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements across the Accounts Payable function
  • Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills and the ability to interpret financial information
  • Ability to learn and operate computerised accounting systems
  • Experience with large ERP systems will be an advantage (Ideally S4HANA)
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • The ability to foster teamwork and promote a positive and inclusive workplace experience, in-office and online
  • Working rights - You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia
  • Personality/behaviour aligns with Esri Australia’s core values
