Your Role

As a consultant in our managed services team, you will be providing technical level GIS support to our key clients, ensuring that our contact with clients delivers an amazing user experience through exceptional stakeholder engagement. Your day to day will consist of:

  • Resolving system incidents and problems with minimal customer impact
  • Maintaining Enterprise systems ensuring system performance is optimised 
  • Providing high level client experiences aligned with contracted service deliverables
  • Manage the requirements of our clients through collaborating and working together to accomplish their goals from onboarding through to contributing to their on-going geospatial understanding, capabilities, and progress.
  • Assist our Service Delivery Lead’s with preparing governance reports for clients.
  • Liaise with the team post incident and review processes, identifying root causes and fixes/preventions for high priority incidents.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate an aptitude for continuous learning and development and a positive attitude. 
You will need to provide knowledgeable insight, and fast incident response to resolution, accordingly you will also need to be able to prioritise workloads and remain cool under pressure. 

  • A bachelor degree in associated business disciplines OR relevant experience.
  • Experience using, and a passion for geospatial technologies in particular for ArcGIS technologies.
  • A solid understanding of GIS theory and applications would be a significant advantage.
  • Java script and python skills will be highly regarded.
  • A very client centric approach is an absolute must.
  • Demonstrated experience with fault diagnosis, dispute resolution, customer complaints, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Adhering to customer contracted service levels agreements.
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal. You can communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • The ability to foster teamwork, work collaboratively and promote a positive and inclusive workplace experience, in-office and online.
  • Knowledge and experience using AWS or similar cloud hosted environments, web development and skills in geodatabases and/or Oracle or SQL Server, python or relevant development skills whilst not essential will be highly regarded.
