Opportunity – Intern Facility Operations

The Equinix Internship Program is a 12-week program that provides an opportunity to gain practical work experience and learn from some of the sharpest minds in the industry. You will work in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results and have the opportunity to build solid relationships with industry leaders, and fellow students from around the world.

The program starts in May and can be taken part-time to manage your studies or full-time. In this program, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the largest data centers in Australia.  You will be assigned projects to work on and have the opportunity to shadow the Facility Engineers when attending to maintenance and walkthroughs in the data center.

What skills and experiences do you need?

We’re looking for students who are studying for an Engineering degree.
You’ll also need to be a great communicator, a team contributor, and someone who likes to solve complex problems.

Program eligibility

  • You will need to available a minimum of 3 days per week and able to attend on-site at Mascot
  • Our Program is open to university students who are in the final year of their studies of a minimum three-year undergraduate degree from an Australian university or those undertaking their master’s degree. So, you will need to be graduating in 2022/23 to be eligible.
  • International Students who have a valid visa that enables them to work in Australia without any work restrictions are eligible to apply for this pathway.
