Your role

As their new Graduate Software Engineer, you will work collaboratively with Development teams to help design, deploy and operate applications and code. You will be exposed to various teams across the business such as Architecture, Digital & Service Management working on technical solutions to improve and uplift functionality.

What your day-to-day could look like:

• Build solutions working closely with Technical SMEs
• Writes documentation for solutions built by Integration to enable the team to support the solutions in production and for future change
• Provide input into solution architecture
• Modern ways of working, working in a squad format under the direction of Scrum Masters or Product Owners
• Work to automate and streamline the operations process
• Troubleshooting issues in their non-prod and production AWS environments
• Supporting other teams in the provisioning and delivery of scalable, reliable and cost-effective infrastructure services

About you

You are a recent IT graduate looking to start your career on a modern tech stack, in an organisation leading the green energy transition.

You will bring some of the following:

• Master’s qualification in IT discipline (or similar hands-on experience, General Assembly type courses)
• Strong development skills within a combination of Javascript, Python, Terraform, SQL etc
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Understanding of application code security or cloud security
• A passion for the field of software development, trends and the challenge of building great software
• Naturally curious with a desire to learn, improve and problem-solve
