Our GROW Graduate Program kick starts your career with a reputable global organisation. You'll receive both formal learning and the chance to work cross functionally in your rotations. Regardless of your speciality, you will pick up new skills and knowledge that will help unlock your potential.

Scope of role:

Working in our Operations and Logistics team, you will be deployed on real life projects from day one, allowing you to make a real impact on your rotations. You will gain experience within our Ports & Terminals and Logistics businesses which could include developing asset reliability and efficiency programs and major infrastructure and asset expansion programs.

You will work on different rotations across the course of your program, which may consist of:

  • An overview of Operations Foundations of the Brisbane Ports & Terminals operation. You will gain exposure to various operations leadership personnel (ie. vessel operations/landside operations) as well as shift supervisory tasks. Sections dedicated to the engineering department to gain an understanding of the role they play in the business unit and the relationship between operations and engineering.
  • Focus on Logistics Foundations, gaining exposure and knowledge to the sales and transactional side of the business.

Graduates will work across a range of Projects throughout the course of the program. Some may include:

  • Landside improvement (double stacking trailer and A triple terminal interface)
  • TOS and how we optimise for improved performance, operations improvement initiatives, and safety initiatives (ie. assist roll out of traffic management plan).

Who are you:

DP World are looking for graduates who are passionate about Operations and Logistics and are looking to embed themselves in a thriving organisation. You will spend 2 years immersing yourself in a program that develops your skillset, and knowledge and provides you an opportunity to build your career in one of the leading Logistics companies in the world. Ideally, you will have a degree in one of the following specialities:

  • Supply Chain
  • Logistics
  • Economics or International Trade
  • Studied at the Australian Maritime College

To be successful you will display a great curiosity to learn and have a passion for the supply chain space. You may be a very analytical person who is interested in pursuing a more strategic commercial career. Alternatively, you may thrive off being client facing and interested in the sales side of operations. With different professional pathways available, you will essentially be someone who is dedicated to exploring all areas of the operations and logistics side of the business and discovering the opportunities that wait for you in your future career.

To be eligible for our Graduate Program you'll need:

  • To have completed your studies (within the last two years i.e. 2021, 2022, 2023) and ready to start full-time by February 2024
  • Have the Right to Work - be a permanent resident or Australian or New Zealand citizen at the point of application
