Their Next Gen Sales Program was created to build the next generation of Dell Technologies sales leaders. Join them as an Inside Sales Associate on their Next Generation Sales Academy (NGSA) team in Australia to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

  • Perform outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications and offer an extension to new and/or existing B2B enterprise customers, and create demand in unpenetrated areas of large Tier 1 accounts.
  • Develop effective Dell Technologies messaging while uncovering opportunities to be passed to Outside Account Executives and develop Account Management Skill Set, by offloading critical tasks from the Account Executives
  • Daily tasks will include prospecting, asset management, contact acquisition, meet activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments, and opportunities identified.
  • Maintain contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, and issue resolution and help to drive the expansion of Dell Technologies’ footprint, and provide an improved customer experience by offering immediate response and feedback.
  • Complete development curriculum to demonstrate core strengths needed to progress to Inside Sales role.

Training, development & rotations

Over the course of 2 to 3 years, you will engage in an intense program that will prepare you for long-term success within the Dell Technologies Sales organization. Anyone who joins their organization starts as an Associate Inside Sales Representative where you’ll receive premier training from both a technology and sales perspective. You’ll be in that role anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on how you perform, and then you’ll have the opportunity to advance to become an Inside Sales Representative where you’ll carry a quota and run all aspects of a sales campaign. They typically see people staying in the Inside Sales Rep role for another year and a half before ultimately moving on to their next position, whether it be field sales, sales management, or a specialty selling role.
