About the placement

This internship is with Wagga Wagga City Council and is facilitated by the CSIRO’s Generation STEM Links program.

As an environmental science intern at Wagga Wagga City Council, you will work alongside the council's environmental team to plan and support a range of projects. Your role will involve using your knowledge of erosion controls to monitor local ecosystems, conducting biodiversity assessments, and applying soil and water sampling techniques to ensure the health of local environments. You'll also research and implement habitat enhancement structures and learn natural resource management techniques to support a range of local flora and fauna.
