About the placement

This internship is with Advitech and is facilitated by the CSIRO’s Generation STEM Links program.

As an intern working at Advitech you will investigate computer vision systems and machine learning techniques that support computer vision. The work will focus around desktop research to support the feasibility of this project. You will work as part of a larger team targeted at helping waste processing and the circular economy.

Work arrangements

  • Start date: June – July 2024
  • Working arrangement: Part-time for 200 hours 
  • Remuneration: $31.25 on a casual contract with Advitech
  • Location: Mayfield West

Desired capabilities

  • In their penultimate to final year of a STEM degree or qualification.
  • A background in Mechatronics, Software, or Computer Engineering or Computer Science required.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex problems.
  • High level problem solving and communication skills.
  • Strong report writing experience.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate qualification.
