Your role

Graduates in this program will gain exposure to a multitude of produce (e.g. citrus and grapes, berries, avocados and bananas, mushrooms, tomatoes). Participants will get immersed in horticulture, agronomy, growing, harvesting, irrigation and/or safety and quality teams, allowing you to build a solid base for a strong career in horticulture.

As a Rotational Program Graduate, you will be working alongside a range of experienced members across different farms/locations, allowing you to experience a variety of produce and growing climates, and make a well-informed decision amongst the range of career paths that Costa provides.

About you

To qualify for the Rotational Graduate Program, you must:

  • Be in your final year or recently finished a Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree. Of particular interest for Costa are degrees in: 
    • Agricultural Science
    • Horticulture
    • Agribusiness
    • Business, with an interest in agriculture
    • Science, with an interest in agriculture
  • Hold a driver’s licence
  • Have your own personal reliable transport 
  • Be ready and willing to relocate and work in different sites during the program, most of which are regional locations.
  • Be ready, willing, and available to commence the Graduate Program on 10 February 2025.

Training, development & rotations

Graduates will engage in an 18-month experience, encompassing three rotations across different produce categories and locations. The program offers a structured leadership and development training curriculum, access to managers and Costa executives, and exposure to various networks within the industry. Participants gain hands-on experience in multiple aspects of horticulture, agronomy, growing, harvesting, irrigation, and safety and quality teams, laying a strong foundation for a career in horticulture.
