Your new role

  • Ensure compliance to the internal inspection and audit schedules and support all external audits within your geographic region including regulatory compliance audits, certification audits, customer audits and HSE Management Standard audits.
  • Undertake environmental monitoring specific to site which may include leachate, groundwater, landfill gas, litter and odour.
  • Prepare and revise environmental management plans for the Melbourne Regional Landfill.
  • Assist with waste acceptance and waste classifications for the Melbourne Regional Landfill.
  • Assist with soil acceptance procedures and criteria including interpretation of analytical results and consultant reports and maintenance of soil sample register.

Your skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Engineering
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Able to review and utilise engineering drawings
  • Management and tracking of asset utilisation
  • Computer literacy, MS Project (Expert), SharePoint (Expert), Excel (Intermediate)
  • Experience in driving initiatives and programs to achieve required outcomes.
