About the role

Claim Central is looking for a Claims Consultant to join the Restoration team, ideally with prior experience in contact center/customer service. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a restoration claim’s portfolio with a customer-centric approach, alongside a team of SMEs in building and repair. 

As a "Claims Consultant” 

To be successful in this role you will need traits such as Customer Focus, Rapport Building, Accountability, Ownership, Flexibility, and Agility to handle and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

A day as a Claims Consultant looks like this:

  • End-to-end management of the claims process within predefined SLAs whilst focusing on improving the customer experience through each touchpoint
  • Answer inbound calls and actions accordingly
  • Record accurate and detailed case notes for claims o internal and external portals
  • Review and analyze reports and data to identify and understand required actions for claims
  • Liaise with policyholders, clients, and trade partners to coordinate rectification of the property or replacement of contents via phone and email
  • Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and respond to any client issues and or complaints accordingly
  • Ad hoc projects and administration in support of the continuous improvement initiatives

  • Previous experience in insurance and/or restoration highly desirable (not essential)
  • High attention to detail
