Job Description

Civmec is an integrated multi-disciplinary heavy engineering and construction provider to the metals and minerals, oil and gas, infrastructure, as well as marine and defence markets. Our diversification enables us to operate extensively across the nation.

The Opportunity

Civmec is currently taking applications for Graduate HSE Advisors to join our Civmec HSE Graduate Program throughout 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your HSE career within the Construction & Engineering industry.

Our program is 2 years which will involve several rotations throughout the business. Rotations will include a mixture of Perth based work and FIFO 2:1 rosters.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete inspections by site-specific HSE management systems
  • Implement new HSE initiatives when issued.
  • Compile and issue HSE based reports (incident reports, trends analysis)
  • Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
  • Support risk identification and management processes to ensure the risk of work activities is reduced to an ALARP
  • Develop and issue pre-start minutes, toolbox minutes and other communications

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in HSE or equivalent 
  • Recent university graduate 
  • Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
