Job Description

The City of Perth is an ambitious Local Government. We are constantly creating opportunities to bring our state’s capital city to life.

Together, we are moving through a transformational change and we are seeking the support of an innovative, pro-active and future focused Graduate Project Engineer to assist with the delivery of the City’s civil engineering infrastructure projects.

Having completed an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, this is a great opportunity to use your learnt skills and work on the City’s biggest construction projects such as East End Redevelopment, Wellington Square Enhancement and Roe Street Enhancement.

As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will support the City by:

  • Providing specialist technical comment and design advisory input of civil engineering projects
  • Identifying, investigating and reporting on engineering design issues
  • Managing low level projects from inception to completion
  • Assisting in the tendering, assessment and award of tenders.

You will receive invaluable experience as you work on challenging projects that contribute to the City’s community plan and the prosperity of our local community. You will learn from our experienced Project Managers and will be provided with training and support to help guide you towards your future career goals.
