The New Careers Program is an entry level paid employment program that provides opportunity for early career Engineering professionals to pursue a career in local government. It involves structured development activities – rotation to other departments, project management, coaching, mentoring, classroom training etc.

The City of Palmerston is the Northern Territory’s youngest city and is located 20 kilometres south-east of the Northern Territory’s capital Darwin.
